Dog found. A large reddish/dark brown, 70-90 pound female (quite sure it is a female, could be wrong) lab/retriever type dog. Seen on/around Lauderdale Road. She has no tags, but a collar, seems to be older and not emaciated. If this is your dog, call Jann at (403) 605-9695.   posted 2/15/10

Holiday Lights, Landscaping, and Home Surveillance. Greetings Neighbors. My name is Matt Moore and I have been a resident of Cherokee Park on Aberdeen for the better part of 30 years and am currently available for holiday help. I am experienced in installation of Christmas and holiday lights and decorations both indoors and out or I can assist you in your own endeavors. I will also be happy to rake leaves and clean out gutters or give your yard one last grooming for 2009. I have a truck and ladders available for project use and Christmas tree adoption. I will be in town for the entire holiday season and will be free to check in on pets and mail, water plants, or check in on your home and offer mid-daily reports so that you can travel with confidence that your house is safe and secure. Donated items are needed. West Nashville Methodist Church at 48th and Charlotte Avenues has started a Hispanic ministry. We now have several Spanish-speaking families who have joined our congregation, and several of these families - who are here legally and have children enrolled in Nashville schools - have been hit especially hard by the economic downturn, as the adults have lost their jobs.
