CPNA is open to all residents of Cherokee Park neighborhood. Annual dues are nominal but are an important source of funds. In addition to feeling good about helping out, current members enjoy certain benefits.
The neighborhood association undertakes such projects as fall picnics, the annual neighborhood yard sale, winterfest progressive dinners, newsletters, this neighborhood Web site, holiday tree pick-ups, the neighborhood directory, a welcoming committee, maintenance of the Triangle (the small common area bounded by Mayfair and Lauderdale), and more.

Your membership and participation in neighborhood activities is encouraged and welcomed. Please let us know of your interest in volunteering for the above or any other neighborhood projects, or pass along ideas for new projects - it's a great way to foster camaraderie, help your neighborhood and surrounding community, and make new friends.
Association objectives:
- To unite all of the residents of the neighborhood by bringing them in closer and more frequent contact with each other and encouraging them to plan and work together;
- To preserve and enhance the neighborhood’s residential character by seeking policies of zoning and codes enforcement conducive to same
- To cooperate and affiliate in appropriate ways with other local, state, and national organizations having compatible goals; and
- To promote the general welfare of the neighborhood in other activities in furtherance of the foregoing purposes.
The membership meets on the second Tuesday in June, October and February of each year. The June meeting is the annual meeting. Meeting locations will be announced but are usually held at Westminster Church at 7PM. Membership dues (per year, per household) are nominal.
